Protected species and the law - for planners

Are you a planner? Do you fully understand your legal obligations regarding protected species legislation?

You are invited to attend a half-day training seminar on Wednesday 18th May in Sheffield, run by Environmental lawyer Penny Simpson.

The course will cover:

    1.    The different categories of protected species in the UK
    2.    How the law protects European Protected Species (EPS)
    3.    LPAs' legal duties as regards conservation:
    4.    How to discharge those legal duties and make robust ("non-judicially reviewable") planning decisions?
    

The course will run from 10am-3pm and includes lunch. The fee (payable in advance) is £75 plus VAT. A full course outline and booking form are attached below.
