Our newly appointed marine consultant Federica Pace will be presenting her work on the automatic classification of humpback whale songs at two upcoming acoustics conferences.

The first appointment is in Nantes 23-27th April 2012, during the conference organised by the Institute of Acoustics and the second will be 2nd-6th July in Edinburgh at the European Conference of Underwater Acoustics where she will discuss the outcomes of her PhD thesis and the applications of speech processing tools for the analysis of bioacoustics signals.
